inserting data into excel sheet using JExcel API

  1. Your examples are vague and does not provide what is suggested in the heading.

    Like This example I expected Number Formatting feature.
    But this just shows assigning a value and just embedding.

    i cant help u ? if ur expected something that is not here.

    each and every method and every procedure is not possible to explain clearly for low learners …. i already given one example , then using this u try to solve another .

      i want to change existing XLS.above forum u explaind about creating the work book and sheets.is there any methode to update the XLS with out creating new sheet .

      1. My class name and prog name is same
        class name :Writebook
        Prog name : Writebook.java

      2. I have the jar in the workign dir and

        compiling with

        javac -classpath jxl.jar Writebook.java

        and running
        java -classpath jxl.jar:. Writebook

        its throwing exceptions

    I am creating an excel file with 60,000 rows and 15 columns ,but it is unable to create an excel file.
    i am getting the error maximum size of excelsheet is crossed. I am using jxl api old version.

  10. extract jar file using winrar, then keep the mai program and jxl folder in same folder. compile and run without using classpath .. I did the same way..
